Multiple Index Base Information Retrieval System...

Google has been limited via its current indexing capabiilties to between 6-8 billion pages of the roughly 200 billion out there. Google now claims that their new patent will allow them to index 100 billion pages.

What effect this new technology will have on SEO is unknown, and will remian so for some time - but its interesting..

Interesting and I read through the article, but Google can't seem to index 24 billion pages they claim they have now properly - I wonder how useful an index of 100 billion supplemental pages will be... haha

Seriously though, the patent wasn't not so much about the size of the index but how they manage to search through it to give an impression of real time searching - and that's impressive.

They should start by fixing their suplemental bugs before throwing more stuff on the plate... it's like filling a boat while guys are trying to plug a hole at the bottom...

but that 1000 times more compared to its first competitors.. n Google is not only indexing so much of pages but it is also trying to improve the quality of search results..
