I have a new website that has a ton of great original content. The site launched about 3 weeks ago. I am very hesitant about trying to get links for it. I really want this site to be a long lasting site on the major search engines.

The problem is that I'm not getting indexed at all for this site. No indexing on MSN, Yahoo, or Google. There are about 3-4 highly relevant links pointed to the site. The first link (one-way) was linked to the site about 3 weeks ago.

Anyone have any suggestions on getting my site indexed?

Sounds very strange; do you mean you are homepage only or not indexed at all? I'd check the server logs to see how often the site is being crawled just to make sure there are no issues with the site. If you're not in a hurry and are being mega cautious then I'd write a few articles and get them published but that's the slowest way. You could try a few submissions to some of the more reputable paid directories out there and relevant forum signatures should be OK (ie not here I guess!)

I'm home page only on Google and nothing on MSN and Yahoo. The site has over 200 pages of content (clean urls). Each piece of original content is over 300 words per page. Strange.

Can you refer me to a thread or good way to get articles published?

I think you should submit your website to the free and paid directories this may help your site get indexed quicker and also might help you improve your SERPs.

I use ezine a lot, and their articles often rank well in the serps. You need to create a keyword rich profile, but don't make it spammy because the best article directories will simply ban you if they think you are spamming them.

Some directories allow links in the text, some add no-follow tags in the text though, which Yahoo ignores anyway, but they all give you a link to your profile and a link to your site.

You should submit it to the reputed directories and pariticipate in forum. This is the only method to index your site.

That would be a waste of time... just get a link instead and it'll better... I never submitted and always got indexed within days... just links will help.

I would suggest get a link from PR6 or PR7 site (home page) pointing to your site and i can assure most of your pages will be indexed unless there is some factors on your site that hinders the crawling of your inner pages other than home page..
