the site which i m trying to promote has started to show up in 4th page in google for most of its keywords and also in yahoo.. but i m surprised why its not showing any listings in msn..

Is there any paticular reason that its not able to rank in msn..

the site is http://www.midassoft.com it the same which i have placed in my signature..

any suggestions would be appreciated

Hi Kate,

I've seen before that MSN can just "miss" new sites sometimes and but if you submit the site to them it can be usually added in a few days.

Just do a site:www.midassoft.com search in MSN and you'll see in invitation to submit the site. That would be the only set of circumstances I would bother submitting to a search engine though.

Actually the site is not new.. But pages are new i mean the site was redesigned a month ago coz before it was in flash n tht's why only index page was listed before in SE..

These guys were saying they used to rank somewhere in 2nd page for couple keywords in Major SEs.

however when i use site command the home page is listed at 4th position in msn which i think it should be displayed at 1st for its own domain.

Also most of new pages are not showing u in index..

is there any thing i can do to get all my imp pages indexed and improve the rankings in msn.

Well MSN is a strange one for rankings, I often say it's a "will o' the wisp" search engine.

MSN's also quite slow at the moment. I did a comparison of the site operator with and without the www and saw different results - have you set up the www redirect very recently?

Thanx again. Yes i have recently applied redirect thing on this site.. Otherwise before it was online with redirection.. Also both with www and without www domain has PR..

Paz what can i do to rank the site at #1 atleast for its own domain name in all 3 SE google, yahoo and msn..
