Hello - I'm a Newbie SEO Real Estate Webmaster
Hi! My name is Eric Bramlett and I currently own a 19 man real estate sales office in Austin, TX. The trend in real estate marketing is moving towards the web - fast. Consumers realize that they can check out a company and an agent pretty in depth before they have to take the dive and call an agent - and end up in a potentially "hard sell" situation. Furthermore, buyers/sellers have realized that they can get a lot of really good, unbiased information on the internet.
We've had our company website around for quite some time - it's good and informative. However, we're in the process of creating personal websites for each of our agents - we're encouraging the agents to really express their personalities, and hopefully get "matched up" with buyers and sellers they can work well with. Each site has IDX technology built in, so a buyer or seller can search the MLS.
So...that's where we are. Where we'd like to go is...to the top of the charts! In order for our agents to get noticed, they have to be on google's (and yahoo, and MSN's) radar. I know most of the basic concepts of SEO, but I'm here to learn as much as possible! Any input is appreciated, and anyone who wants to trade links with similar sites will be welcome!

One idea - sign up for a free officedigits.com account, they will give you three free telephone numbers, one for fax, voice mail and conferencing. Use the voice mail to receive instant replies from prospective customers who are interested in speaking with you about a residential property.
