How does yahoo evaluate site for page rank?

Yahoo used to have a public Page Rank value like Google's but they abandoned it many years ago. I'm psoitive they calculate some sort of pagerank though even if they don't make it public.

Oh Really! Yahoo has a page rank before? Well, I don't have any idea. Before, I only think that google is the only search engine that has page rank.

Yes it had some sort of Page Rank indicator. They used to make it public, but was funny to check it, because each time I was hitting the "view my page rank" button or however was it called then, I was getting a different value. Really, I don't think anyone based their performances on that indicator ever.

can't say anything, but the thing is if you type "Custom web development" in yahoo search you will see http://www.dizyn.com this is my site but i don't how its coming at top because i did not do anything for this.

Backlinks plays a big role in increasing your page rank. Actually, a site can have just one page of content and still have a high PR if it has a lot of backlinks.
