Dilligaf the weather man?

Dilligaf-

I know you are not a weather man but....

What is the weather like in October? I'm thinking of booking a family trip to mouse world. I'm thinking that the weather is probably similar to ours here in Palm Springs, Ca.

Gah, I just called and cancelled my Resort reservations today. Just not going to be able to afford to make it down there. If I hadn't already been 18 or 19 times in my life I'd be a bit more upset, but it still sucks.

When I went in October 2001, it was mid 80's for the highs and mid 60's for the lows. Every other trip has been in November, but we moved that trip up that particular year. Even November is always very comfortable, mid to high 70's/50's.

If there's anything you want to know, just ask. Between me and my brother, we could pretty much tell you anything, lol. We use to run a pretty large Disney World site, but shut it down due to disagreements. If I ever get the time I'm going to put it back up under a new name, but it's like a couple of hundred pages, a couple of hundred pictures, etc. to redo and I just don't have the time currently.

Eh, ok I'm done. Didn't mean to hijack your thread and start rambling.

Mobile-

Thanks for the input. I have only been to FL in the summer months (June & July). I hate going at those times....too many people.

My kids would never, ever, never, ever, speak to me again if we skip the RAT. I do want to check out other stuff, Cape Canaveral (maybe), Cocco Beach and just relax.

I certainly understand that sentiment... there's a bunch of other stuff that's really cool though too.

I think it should be a requirement before coming for every family member to be able to sing "Florida" by Mofro on the Blackwater CD, unless they're teething. (smiley here)

I guess it all worked out. Had I kept my plans, tomorrow (Sunday) would have been the day I was leaving to head down there.

There was an huricane warning, but not going his way. Since they are often wrong, he did not like it. I did not see him since yesturday and he still showed up while the previous huricane was around. So I don't like this.

<added news>
Hurricane Frances weakened to a tropical storm today and crawled inland with heavy rain after leaving two people dead and more than five million without power.

More than 13 inches (33cm) of rain fell along Florida’s central east coast, flooding some areas four feet (1.2 metres) deep, as a weakened Frances edged across the state toward Tampa and the Gulf of Mexico. In its wake, trees and power lines were flattened, broken traffic lights dangled and beachfront roads were littered with coconuts, avocados and tree limbs.

Hopefully he's just out of power.
