Whoa, just checked my traffic stats. I got 50 unique visitors from that keyword yesterday.
I now have three well ranked keywords at position 7, 17, and 21. This is a lot of fun!

I don't believe this. Too much activity in a short time period. I have never seen such short drastic movements. I am a rookie so I ask ...is this really possible?

Yeah, I'm amazed, too. But also keep in mind that I chose pretty uncompetitive keywords to start with. My site has also been around since May and has tons of traffic and a sub-100,000 Alexa rating.

Hey Rookie,
I think it would depend on the keywords and the site in question. It's possible Optiontrader already has some PR and decent backlinks, plus we don't know what keywords they're targeting. Any site that is frequently updated can show new pages or new page updates quickly.
Optiontrader...why don't you post your site and keywords here so we can check out how you're doing?

Update: Three keywords have been optimized and two made it to the top 10. Result: Over 400 unique visitors have clicked through in the last week.
Second result: I fired my SEO company today and disputed the charges. The CEO was extremely unprofessional and accusatory and tried to slither out of it. Had he demonstrated the slightest iota of personal integrity or care, he could have easily saved the account.
I'll be looking for a more reasonably priced SEO to help me out with writing content and all the nitty gritty stuff soon. I definitely won't be spending $6k for ten keywords this time.

ouch I forgot it was such a steep price
good luck with finding another seo company, I know someone who is in the same process and its not an easy task. Did they end up giving your money back?
