wow I thougth I had a good jump..looks like most of mine were actually forum posts from here. of couse google doesnt like to pick up the actual sites I do link exchanges with...still waiting for that pr of 7 a got a few weeks ago to show up back there somewhere in the list

Hello,
This is just some rambling from someone who's definately not a SEO expert...
But to me it seems like those backlinks showed by Google has nothing whatsoever to do with the SERP's? During the last backlink update my new backlinks were ignored by Google, but my SERP's improved a lot. This time, my SERP's stayed the same, while my backlinks got doubled. So in my case, it seems like Google shows now what actually happened one month ago. For all we know it might be the same with the PR, that they update it internally but don't show it in the bar to screw with our minds?
Well, just my thoughts about this...

Major BL jump for me, doubled, no PR update though, like everyone else, off to check the SERPS.

Backlink Update ------- Same Shit Different day,
This is the 3rd time google backlink update is showing only a crap sample of backlinks, it is weird some Newbies think this is valid, Just dump the command move on with life, What ever that is showing is not what google knows or what google recognizes, They want to mess with link mongers and they are showing only crap,
I recommand only one thing people, Forget that command and think of other ways to track your backlinks, Try to be smarter than google, Dont Fall into Google's Trap Guys,
