Any one know much about the recent updates? I have many sites completely lost everything. While others built with same setup are doing fine.

Any one experiencing any major issues?

i personally think the current search results SUCK. And feel G will have to make some tweaks to straighten this out.

Got many sites and none got any major change. I had more changes just before xmass. I see changes here and there, but not enough to rock my boat so I stick my neck out to figure what is rocking it. Usually, if you're not part of schemes to inflate your PR or serps artificially, you don't get seasick.

I've lost count of the number of "updates" I've seen in the last couple of months. I have a couple of sites I bought very recently that have disappeared in Google, but they were thin affiliate sites with quality issues I couldn't sort out in time to avoid a penalty.

At the opposite end of the spectrum I have a couple of my original, old-school SEO sites that keep getting Webmaster tools messages of;

Search results clicks for http://www.example.com/page.htm have increased significantly. Yay!

So for me it's all coming full circle!

Lots of people complaining that this Penguin tanked their websites last week. This update seem to really hit webmasters that had link from shady spots.

BTW... has anyone noticed how well link exchanges still work??? I still have a website ranking #1 for several KW's all on link exchanges. *crazy*

Can someone explain this - my webmaster tools, view linking sites. And it shows numerous sites with 3000 or more links. When i click to view more, it says 1 linked page.
So how can i have 3k links from 1 linked page?

You are missing the point. It might be old but I have seen two old techniques still working well today:

1) Link Exchanges
2) Blog Comment Spam (I don't do this)

And... I was making a joke. Did you see the "lol" at the end??? But... I'm not against exchanges if they are few and far between and on content pages.

And.... who says I don't use social media?
