Did all of you guys go for the $99 submission?

I am wondering about this too.

Particularly interesting is the traffic... is it providing you guys with actual vistitors, or did you get it purely for the back links?

I only paid $49 and registered 10 pages - each targeting a different set of keywords. Their HTML checker was pretty helpful. I had some bad mistakes that I didn't even realize.

I guess my main question is whether this is another bluefind.com directory, in that it provides no traffic, but does provide a good quality backlink?

I know 49$ is pretty good.. but I'll need to double check the guidelines before I attempt to get into this directory

Zero traffic so far but it has only been up for two weeks. It is a good quality backlink and is worth the price. IMO

Say, how did you confirm your backlinks?

I want to be sure that my home page is properly indexed before proceeding with the other 9 pages.

I don't know that you can really confirm 100% for sure since G seems to be all screwed up lately.

So do they really keep up on charging you on a yearly basis? I know of people who submitted to yahoo for $299/yeah and for the past 3 years havent been charged anything.

That'd be great if it's a one-time fee. So, I guess I'll have to wait for Google next backlink update to confirm the new BL's.

Actually, I noticed that I have about 100 more links in Yahoo! that I wasn't seeing before. I'll double check to see if it's related to my recent MSN bCentral subscription.

Just checking back in to let you know that I had a 24 hour turn around on the approval of my submission.

Funny enough, but I had a submission error ( I included my company name in the description ) but then resubmitted. I searched all my keywords and they came up 1st. Finally, in the 6 categories, I was ranked at the bottom. Must be 1st come, first serve. Seems pretty good so far.
