If I had to guess, I would say he "seemed" to be spamming the forum with a bunch of parroted and "me too" type of posts.

Made mass posting of one liners... so, spamming. You don't come here and take a section and reply to every single post of the section. I warned him about these 20 posts in a row in a single section, but looks like he stepped in it again after that.

Ah I understand. This forum is very reasonable.

IT wasnt just that, we have a 2 link sig rule here and he had to many links when he joined so I nicely PM'd him to remove the excess, and he did, then about 2 weeks later he tried to sneak extra links back in by making portions of his sig links such as "eric" being one link and bland being a different one all in the conjoint work Ericbland and there were a bunch more things like that. Its one thing to make an honest mistake, its another to be told the rules explicitely and then choose to disobey them.

Im pretty fair I think when ti comes to things, I dont censor my critics and usually let people post just about anything, as long as it is saying "something" I mean shit we were talking about the political debate in general chat, nothing to do with SEO but we are a community, many of us friends and I want to allow for lax rules etc. I just dont like spammy punks is all they get away with it and it just invites more spam. Kind of ignorant, especially when it is so transparent

Yea you know he post one liner post over at other forums also. I've noticed however on other seo guy forum such as his hosting he's not banned. Was going to remind SEO Guy but felt ah this is not my business.

at anoterh forum where I moderate he was using fake sig links. at the end of the day you try to judge intent.

the goal of the forums are to learn and teach.

one liners full of sig link spam make the forums less usable and are bad for everyone.

This would be assuming spammers actually read the threads they are posting in? That is one of the most frustrating things about SEO Chat...I love that forum, but there are so many one-liner spammers, that it has become nearly unmanagable -- some of the mods there are awesome, but it just becomes too big of a job with not enough internal policing. Because of that one problem, I find myself spending more and more time here (even though I don't post as much here yet).
