So this morning, I checked GoogleRankings dot com, and our site was listed as #46. (Which quite a large increase.) So I did a search on google dot com, and sure enough we were on page 5.

Just checked now, our site is at #185 and we're no longer on page 5 of the search results.

Did anybody else experience this "Google spike"? What's the explanation?

yeah I get changes like that as well, for the same keyword, sometimes my index page is listed, at like 453 and then my forum page is listed for the same keyword at around the same level, it's like Google gets a bit confused over which page to show in the rankings.

In my experience, this happens for a few days after a BL update. IMO it's a data center thing, it should settle in a few days.
