Although Yahoo! is more content focused, I have noticed a large jump in our Yahoo! results - probably due to a recent backlink update.

I went from 500 something to over 1200 links. This could be a sign of what is to come in other SE's.

Anyone else see their links increase in Yahoo!?

yes, but I usually see increases on a daily or bi-daily basis

They do update all the time but this update was much more significant.

I agree this update was much more significant. I wouldn't count Yahoo! out of the search engine game just yet. That have a decade worth of investment in search - and they won't drop that research & development.

Funny thing is that I still seem to get different results. Sometimes, I'm number #2 or #3 and then next search and I can't find the same results.

Does Yahoo! operate different datacenters like Google?

How are you looking at your backlinks in yahoo?
