sandbox question?
hello all.
This is my first serious attempt at SEO... I redesigned an old site of mine.
My url is http://www.homegrowninc.net and my keyphrase is "vancouver hip hop"
My phrase isn't too competative, and I'm doing quite well considering I have done little to no SEO on the site. The website shows up on the 1st page of yahoo, alltheweb, msn and hotbot for "vancouver hip hop", but it's not showing up at all in Google yet.
I rank number one for allintitle/allintext/allinanchor: vancouver hip hop... Now does this mean I should be ranked well in google when my site comes out of the sandbox?
thanks

Its not how long it has been in Google it is how long have you actually been building relevant links (if they are relevant) for the page, the links are what is sandboxed not the site itself.

Just checked and as of this latest update Google doesnt seem to be reporting one relevant backlink, you just have few from here, and one from a sport bike place and your internal pages, you need to get some links from sites relevant to Vancouver, Hip Hop or both

It's not your site that's in the sandbox, it's the links.

Are you treated differently if you are a. sandboxed and have only relavant links vs. b. are sandboxed and have other links in addition to relavant links?

No. Relevant links will hold more weight than non relevant links but everything is sandboxed the same.

old links have more weight than new links. And older websites seem to be preferred on new ones by Google. Anyway, keep building relevant links, with keywords in anchor text, you'll get there soon.
