Can we change the sandbox?

After months of small time research that I have carried out trying to get a better understanding of the possibility that the "Google Sandbox" really does exist and what the reasons behind it would be I find myself no better off.

It's sparked a thought though....

I have noticed that Yahoo is being used more now to check BL's etc as it's updated more... Either google needs to update more often or people (certainly online developers) are going to start to use yahoo more surely..

Apparently (seen in an email newsletter from an SEO site, cn't member which 1) google is used the most with yahoo close behind them. My sites show completely different stats, google is sending more than double the traffic yahoo send to the majority of my sites not sandboxed. The sites that are sandboxed, yahoo sends the most. Not to sure what that proves but it's fact.

Questions I need help with:

Does google know we are using yahoo more?
Do they care if we do?
Is the sandbox really just to spark more interest in AdWords?
Would yahoo ever become #1? Google hasn't really been fair to webmasters in 04 in my opinion yet yahoo still isn't #1?!?
Can anybody get past this sandbox crap (pardon the pun)?

On a mad mission, if we all used yahoo more, we'd scare google a little right? then surely they would update more and get rid of this sandbox. So what if people cash in on some links, at least we can all have the option to buy them in the first place (not that I do, nor encourage it, contrary actually). Google is sending me bloody crazy..! HELP ME SORT MY HEAD OUT - cries another G' happy SEO n00b..!

Yahoo also has the advantage that it has integrated RSS on MyYahoo! That should appeal to both SEOers and bloggers. And the latter in particular are multiplying like rabbits (although I don't think they're using the same method - hehe)

Anyway - I TRY to use Y more often, since I now have MyY as my homepage. But in fact it doesn't do quite as well as Google for "normal" searches. Especially here (which is abroad). Yahoo is still too limited, both in database size and in geotarget. Would be nice if they caught up, like MSN are trying...

Yep. As soon as the new MSN is launched, their search bar is going up prominently on all of my sites.
