The one site I have done that is #1 in Google for a key phrase, when I add the string it drops the site to #3.
Site I did that is #1 w/out the string
registered 1999
DMOZ - 2 Listings
MSN - #3 (for the key phrase)
Yahoo - #12 (for the key phrase)
Yahoo Directory - none
links - 3040

Site #1 when string is added
Registered June 2004
No DMOZ listings
Yahoo #27
Yahoo Directory - none
MSN # 5
links - 586

Site #2 when string is added (this site is also #3 w/out the string)
reg domain Sept 2001
Dmoz - 1 listing
Yahoo #5
Yahoo Directory - none
MSN #7
Links 2030

From what i can tell I can delete some of the -????? and still rank good. But I searched with just one filter and still am in the top 10 -dsfsdf. I rank #1 with all the filters off but this one seams to me the bigest hold back for me

Rigth hand drive jeeps -dsfsdf
returns around #11

si I thank that every -????? is a different filter. I wish we could find out what the filters are for every -?????? are. Then we could come up with an action plan.

Just my two cents. could be wrong

Hello forum member

i am a newbie in the terms of SEO but like to learn quick and read already a longtime in this forum.

i read this thread and found the link to the sandbox detection tool. and tried also the -***** filter in Google

the facts are:
my search phrase has by google 19.000.000 entries
and i rank on place 219

with the -***** Filter i rank on 19.500.000 entries
i rank on place 7

in the G***gle Sandbox detection tool
it says:

i am with 50.1-60% Moderate Sandbox Factors may be at work - try additional terms

Google - Not in Top 100
Google - allinanchor 11
Google - allintitle 11
Google - allintext 12
Yahoo! 18
MSN (Beta) 16
Teoma Not in Top 100

Does this mean i have over optimized my site ???

How i can turn this in the contrary.

Thank you.

Thank you - eitemiller

thats was the reason i asking in this thread.
I am not sure where is the border between a good optimization and over optimization.

Is this the only reason to come in the sandbox?

my backlinks are checked and i think i have good Bls to my site.

I am on the way to make a decision - to leave the site like it is or to look over it again.

Hi there guys and girls

Could someone please tell me what tools is used for sandbox detection or to find out what is your sandbox detection score. If your score is a certain percentage do you then consider your site sandboxed?
