Nothing unusual here with gbot

Yesterday I had more hits from Googelbot than I have pages. I got some hits on new pages posted this week, too. site:mydomain .com still has the same number of pages indexed, so no update yet.

Okay, it's going deep now...but not in the normal manner. This is actually kinda weird.

1. The bot is moving pretty slowly (one page every 90 seconds).
2. It is crawling based on filename length, if you can believe that. Not alphabetically, or supposed by, but filename length.

Ain't that goofy?

Two projects I'm working on: Car Insurance (spidering test) and Auto Insurance

Yep... got deepcrawled during the day. More deepcrawls than updates now, well visible updates. Tought they were alternir directory/toolbar update but not sure now... maybe they decided to lower the amount of fresh-crawl and have more deepcrawls instead.

Major googlebot activity on larger ecommerce site over past 24-36 hours. deep deep and deeper spidering. I smell an update.
