Igloos would keep the beer warm. The heat retention within blocks of ice is quite significant. The tricky part would be to find a way to regulate a temperate within the initial part of the tunnel to 50-55 degrees F...gotta have a place to put the good wine!
Back on topic though; there hasn't been much progress today in SERP improvement; the same datacenters keep flip-flopping, without any major direction one way or another. The Google deepcrawl finished for me lately too, so maybe the mini-update is right around the corner.

Is anyone else seeing dep crawl clues of an update? I see increased googlebot activity over past couple of days on main site but not as rapid a rate as sometimes happens before an update (site has over 16,000 pages indexed so it gets frequent spidering and takes a few days to index). Seeing googlebot fresh visits to less popular sites that only get crawled monthly if lucky.

If the search engines wanted to really keep relavent but keep the SEO's from totally figuring it out they would rotate results daily. This would suck for us since we have so many #1+2 spots, but it would make some sense for the SE's

After hard work, it's nice seeing your results stick for a while. Daily updates would surely cause a heart attack.

I just ran SEO Guy's Google Dance tool for my two most important keywords and, for the first time in two weeks, my rankings are consistant between all of the datacenters. Does this mean that it is over? I sure hope so!

(serious supposition smiley here) I think the "major part" is over in most circumstances. I'd guess we'll see many individual sites and networks return and a steady churn in the SERP's but if they were rolling back my guess is that we'd have seen an indication by now and where you lite now will be pretty close to where you will be when it does settle. (or at least I'm hoping)
I haven't watched DC's in awhile until lately.
