When Google update the PR and backlinks, are they updating the data that is 1 month old, or are they updating recent data?

GOD I WANT A PR UPDATE !!
Ecommando I think google visits different parts of your site over the month dependent on your PR, so for this forum it gets indexed everyday and its as uptodate as can be.
so basically its dependent on your PR and your linking buddies PR. Thats how I understand it anyway...

Google usually spiders 50 or so pages on my site per day. Last couple of days it's been spidering hundreds which, in the past, has always happened just before a PR update.
If this is more than coincidence then I'm betting my money on 1 week from now.
If this is just a coincidence then I'm betting someone else's money

James thats fantastic news.....tell me some more about how we definitely will have an update this month :-) its strange everytime theres an update I'm always doing some tweaking with my site....gees had all month. No change on the datacentres yet tho  move it ! |

I had a deep crawl a couple days ago too. Last time that happened it was update time  Some 350 pages in the last 2 days, yup, I'm a happy man. Anxiously awaiting it... |

hmm. PR update coming
Hi, I'm new to this forum... and have been reading this thread for a bit.
Just today and yesterday, googlebot has also "gone crazy" on my site, which usually happens right before a PR update. I'm here to support the other people's claim too.
I think that it'll happen before the end of this weekend.
