Not sure if this is a forum that can help, but have tried alot to no avail.
How do sites put an image before their URL in the address bar? Most have the IE globe, but some like MSN have another image.

Any clues?

I think you are talking of the favicon.ico

You can put an icon in your root called favicon.ico that some browsers will try to download to put in the listings.

What root do I put it?

The root of your website... like in www.domain.com/

Same location as yopur default.asp file if you prefer.
