I have heard that MSN likes fresh content. I have some questions regarding this:

1) What percentage of the page should contain fresh content?

2) Is it acceptable to have fresh page content on every page load, or should it only be updated once per day?

I've not heard/seen anything about MSN and fresh content. I've got some pages that haven't changed in a year and they still do quite well.

Personally, I don't stress too much about MSN because my SERPS have been all over the place with very few changes so I get the impression they're continually adjusting things. Beyond that they provide a fraction of the traffic of Google and Yahoo.

Don't know how you plan to accomplish that w/ out BH but your BW will go through the roof if you find a way to pull it off. Add content regularly & post on a blog on your site at least weekly & you'll be GTG

This site is located at http://www.free-dog-training.info . Toward the bottom of the page there is a small section titled 'Free Dog Training Article'. The article displayed is different every every time the main page is visited.

How would this affect BW?

Should I show this article in random like it is presently being done, or should I only change this article once per day?

I came to the conclusion that fresh content can help when one of sites I am working on started to drop. I added some extra pages and links to those pages then the site was back up to #1.

Could just be the nature of the beast. I haven't made any changes at all and most pages are back on top. From #1 - #3 to page three and back.

I have a few of my sites thats content changes on every page load and it seems to keep the spiders coming back for more. Just random products and descriptions from the catalogues but i think it keeps the page looking fresh and different every time.
