P R Digger??

I got an email for a program called PR Digger . I guess its for checking and finding high page rank sites for your keywords, and then you would have to proposition the sites for links?
Any experience in here?

First, I have not ever used it and can't say how well it works.

But, I believe that it is against googles TOS, and could cause problems with the numbers of searches that a serious SEO project could make. Google would not know that domain that cuased the problem, but could simply ban your IP to keep you from accessing them. This is what happened with the WPG lookups a few years back.

There are a couple free ways to do what you are talking about.

First, seoguys tools has the pagerank finder that can be used in the same way. The main problem is that it is limited to 100 urls. (you can limit to only higher PR in successive searches to get a few more than 100/keyword)

You can also find the approperate directory in google, which will display the PR and save you a bit of time deciding who to ask for links first.

If you do decide to give it a try, let us know how it works. I have been trying to find something that will do something simmilar without causing more problems.

I did a quick search on g00gle for the software you indicated.

I did find it in text, but no links, and no sites offering it.

Perhaps a bit of an indication that they should not expect a Christmas card from google this year.

You could always use Prog http://www.webmasterbrain.com/prog/ and type in your keywords and find the sites with the PR you want and email them. No Fuss No Muss

Hi all ... I don't know if this will help ...

I wrote a little utility that harvests links directly from my competitors link pages. Then it sorts the links in order of the sites page rank. Makes it easier to determine what sites I want to look at.

The nice part is the links are more likely to match your theme.

Google only shows some backlinks and they are 4-5 weeks old.

Enjoy it or Delete it

RideQ: Check out PageRank Search from SEO Chat. It allows you to do Google searches and arange them by relevance or pagerank, and up to 100 at a time. It is a very useful tool. SEO Guy has a similur tool Keyword PageRank Finder as robert pointed out but the SEO Chat tool displays them with the highest rank first and also allows you to search allintitle:keyword etc.. Also the SEO Chat tool provides you with the option to examine the inbound links for on any of the results which is very helpful also. You can find this tool and others on my SEO Tools Page.

Yes I've used those tools and the are great. But eventually I ran out out of search terms to use. The back links displayed in Google is only a sample, and lately they have been mostly low PR sites.

Now I simply follow the links from my competitor's link pages. They find the people willing to trade links, I simply contact the best of those sites. Then I follow their link pages back as well.

A never ending chain of sites, related to my theme.

I even discovered a few rlated themes that I would have never about.
