The above is a literal translation of the acronym SERP. More generally, SERPs are the scorecard of how well your page(s) is designed through SEO techniques and the resultant interpretation by search engines on the relevancy of the page(s) to the search term used along with the popularity (BLs) of any given page(s) for that search term. If all are accomplished well above average, the page(s) score high in the SERPs.

Well, one can quibble about the singulars versus the plurals. Perhaps--
Search
Engine
Results
Pages
And, regrettably, the hyphen that sound English usage wants between Search and Engine(s) is lost in all this.
