Anyone have experience with LiveChat scripts for PHP? I wrote a Flash/PHP script for another site once, but I need something more accessible for the site I'm working on now (old ladies like it).

I would like to work with PHP server side and JavaScript client side. I don't mind doing some customization.

Some features we are looking for (these are pretty standard I guesse):

1. Email a transcript of the chat sessions after disconnecting.
2. Shows user's IP address, location, and other info.
3. Can be enabled/disabled when the script is manned/unmanned.
4. Works in IE and Firefox.

I don't know about a good live chat script, but I have a pretty nice little Live AJAX Chat Tutorial at:

written in PHP that is easily extensible. I've been planning on turning it into a full blown chat system, but it's been too busy around here lately form my toy projects.

I think Activecampaign trio Live is a good PHP solution, that they have built up with AJAX.

Our pick for 2007 is however LivePerson which is a hosted solution and comes loaded with useful features.
