But problem is , i submit one article in a site who rank at top when i search for our main keyword. google taking our keywords as content of a article site.
so now what?

Yes this is the real benefit of Articles.When you dont have a well ranked site ,Articles
gives you traffic.After few month when google update its SERP index, your site starts ranking on those terms.

Both are much important for your website, but if we differentiate between article and press release so my openion is article submission is better than the press release.

Hi sonisoni,
We can't compare article submissions and press release.
Reason is both are having advantages from SEO view point.
Article submissions can give you traffic and links while press release if published and picked up by a good site like Guardian or BBC can give you one very strong backlink.
So don't get confused. They both are good from SEO view point.

According to me both are important. But article submission gives good results than press release. Article submission helps in getting more traffic to your site & this result in high PR.

Yes, I've seen this too, especially for new sites. If you think about it, the fact that the article ranks is a sign that it will be a great backlink.
In time your site will climb, and although it's a pain to see another site rank for your article; you just have to keep writing, submitting and waiting!!!

Hi, all the methods of article submission, feeds, blogging and so on, make a collection of tested and proven methods helping webmasters.
We shouldn't absolutely name about the superior methods, in fact there are some minute points like, submitting article to what site, how the article was written, how many webmasters will download it, where it will appear at, the same is true about feeds as well.
The webmasters who work harmoniously at all of the legitimate seo methods have been more successful.
