See MSN wants to be Google - Have the most popular SE in the world. I also heard MSN once tryed to buy Google but they said NO were not selling it. So there starting to build there own algo instead of using Inktomi's algo. MSN has always been powerd by some other company.

MSN has stated that they hope their own technology should be out by the end of this year.

I hope MSN is way better then it is now. I don't even mess with MSN or Yahoo as Google would provide me the traffic I need. Why would I need to optimize for them when Google does it's job? Just to waste time LOL.

After what I can see, MSN has dropped Inktomi now. They started to do it a couple of months ago but now all Inktomi results are gone. I had many listings by Inktomi in MSN and they all were lost at the end of last month. You could see the inktomi listings by the redirect that was shown in the status field of the browser when you pointed the mouse over the listing.

But why am I totally gone! I had a nice no.2, for "ringtones usa" (Im 16 and going up on Google) but now Im totally wiped out on MSN. One would think that they atleast would index me. www.ringtones-usa.com. I am seeing other results now then I did a week ago, the ones that are strong on Yahoo and Google are not there. Take Yamaha-ringtone.com, they dont index them, and they are strong!

Well MSN and Yahoo both don't seem to crawl me at all. They used to crawl more than Google did but I will be looking into why they don't crawl me. How I know they don't crawl me is because I see a very very very old title in the serps.
