Hi,

I am finding some major changes on MSN ,particularly about crawling pattern.

From last one month i am finding that MSN is too slow to crawl web pages as it wasnt???

Also they have a lot of flux every day in their results!!


What you people think??

I am also experiencing the same problem, previous my website was crawled frequently in msn.But from the past one month there seem to be some problem the webpages are being crawled very slowly.

I will assume your talking about Live because that is where it goes when I do a search in MSN. Looks like they have changed something. SERPs are showing different results.

Hi,

The transition from MSN to Live.com is nearly complete. It still needs a little bit more time. In the meanwhile, some people after seeing just shocking fluctuations during the hot days of data transfer, rushed to semi artificial link building schemes.

Naturally, everyday their rankings got worse because the intelligent algo detection of Live just realized this very soon, in a couple of hours and since then these websites have been encountering many problems both is getting refreshed, a delay has been set for them, and also about getting their new pages listed.

Some website owners who returned to their previous normal condition, are now seeing better results again.

The new Live.com simply doesn't like rapid growth of links and loves content.

Right now MSN(live) results are looking pretty good.

yea my site is also crawled less by msn and its has no good ranking as well while in google it doing pretty well. And yahoo has really improve its crawling.. its been faster to crawl new pages too these days..
