Smacked in the googles

Nope Im really not impressed by google. this last week, my "normal" sites which are spam free and have high page rank have been affected by google medling.

Tracking the keyword "balance transfers" over the past month has seen well over 100 sites being placed in the top 10 at one time or another. Sites moving from #1 to #15 and then to #3 then out of the top #100. Not just mine may I add. It seems everyones....

How can google be saying that "The search results are getting better" whilst they are obviously changing so much.

Take the word "seo", I have also been keeping an eye out for sites like this, and I am astounded to see tons of japenese websites being included in the results. These sites in japense too [weird]....

Some of my new sites have been sat waiting for PR for nearly two months (it feels like), how is one meant to get a business off the ground if they have to wait 2 months to be included... Then another 6 to get into DMOZ, then another 3 to get from DMOZ to Google Directory....

Its becoming a joke !!!!!! and Im sure most people feel the same

winge over, back to the unfair grindstone !!!!

Thinks are moving. They seem to be playing with the switches.
I don't really modify my pages anymore since it's a rollocoster since Florida.
From what I can see for my keys, they lowered the URL weight a bit.
They also played with the stemming switches but this was for a while.
I noticed the chinese thing too but they usually don't stay in SERPS long.
There was a deepcrawl last week (10-Mar) so it gives more fluctuations.

I know how you feel. One of my sites went from #6 to off the map overnight... and the best part is that was the domain's highest converting keyword. DOH!

I've seen this exact same meddling ( great word, I like it: Google Meddling ) before, and I have to agree:

Hold fast to the center and continue good development and promotion strategies rather than trying to tweak pages that were doing great and were then smoked.

If a term wasn't highly competitive ( relatively speaking ) and you were wiped out, you can possibly very easily claim the term via a page on another domain if the PR is comparable. I had to do this for one client, so I'm "holding" the top spots for their key terms on another domain until Google starts punching the right buttons.
