Hello!

Could anyone tell if using <iframe> in the pages would affect the seo rankings? Thanks!

Not at all. But you should avoid using <iframes>. In this forum I have seen people writing, that you can use CSS instead of <iframe>.
I remember one post where one of the member said " You can do anything with CSS, what you can do with <iframe>"

Ya, Look into the CSS

overflow: auto;

property. That can generate the same style effect as the iFrame. It's always best to avoid iframes, and any type of frame for that matter if you can.
