Can anyone explain this.
I rank No:2 on msn for 1 of my keywords.
I have around 400 back links to my site and all of my webpages are optimised fully, my domain name is not that dissimilar to the company that ranks No:1
but they have less than half the backlinks that i have and their website is very poorly optimised.
So how is it that they are ranked No:1 and i am No:2 the only reason that i can think of is that their sight has been running for longer than mine.
Can anyone explain the answer to me.

I think they have some penalization mechanism, although dos and donts myself....
