Hi all, I have seen in many websites that google don't show index page in their index or don't show cached. So I just want to know why google ignore this.


for example : www.xyz.com
www.xyz.com/index.php or whatever >> Don't show index

If anybody disagree with me, please do give your views or explain with example.

They are treated as 2 separate domains. If you are not sticking to one or the other you will see the variances in the SERPS. Sign up for Google Google's webmaster tools and you can specify your preference.

to improve your interal link building, always link using the same url...such as www.yoursite.com, yoursite.com, or yoursite.com/index.html

whatever you do, stick with one. I would recommend www.yoursite.com

you can use the .htacces to fix that can problem and to get a same url to search engine

Google Webmaster Central let's avoid variances by choosing a preference between http://domain.com and http://www.domain.com. If you don't have a Google Webmaster account, set one up.
