Just a thought with the recent changes.... IMO if you have newer sites and you're not duming a $hitload on your links, you're missing the boat. If your serp's suck and they update PR at all... ever.. it's gonna matter alot.

It just semms to me that they couldn't continue displaying it if they didn't intend to update it at some point.

I'm talking primarily about finding link partners whose pages get spidered frequently more than PR's effect on SERP's.

we have 2 linking clients in the medical field smin why dont you PM SEO Kid and let him know to exchange links and he will, one is a lap band / lap band surgery guy the other is a canadian pharmacy (Not an affiliate site but an actual canadian pharmacy they are licensed have a facility etc) the band site is PR 6 (Not that PR matters) and the pharmacy is PR 7 again see comment on PR lol

I dont mind posting the lap band URL here http://www.lap-band-surgery.org/ but as per an arrangement with the pharmacy I'm not sure I can post the link in public I will have to check with them, but PM is in confidence so you can get that URL there (Or just check google for canadian pharmacy we are always top 5 hehe

I don't know if it is possible but what would be handy is the actual number of times a word or phrase is used as anchor text in the google index with a list of the pages the anchor text is pointing to ordered by frequency.

I suppose that is like asking for the holy grail though.

Its impossible, Google does not publish a frequency for the allinanchor: #'s just a sequential order but really its quite easy to track, EVERY relevant link increases your allinanchor as long as its spiderable and because of the speed in which allinanchor: updates its only a week or 2 before you see progress

So what's the consensus here? That Google will not, at some point, update the PR? or Other web guys will no longer look at PR when considering recips?
