Domain registrars - Feedback!
Hi everyone!
I decided to start this thread because I needed to have some feedback on a new registrar that I found recently. Probably many of you know it, but I just found it I'm talking about www voxdomains com
If any of you had any experience with them, please let me know your pro or versus arguments for register / not register domains with them.
As for now, all my domains are registered with GoDaddy.com but I have seen many people who got their domains stolen from them and GoDaddy did nothing to help them.
Also, any good experiences you may have with other registrars, please post here.

I don't know about these guys. One thing I know is that if you want to keep your domain, register it yourself. Some give a free domain name when you host with them. Makes sence, they register the domain, so you don't own it, they do. If they F***-up, you just lost it. And you have to stick with them. Do you really think they would necessarely accept to forward your domain to a different host... When it looks too good, there is a catch... lol

Thanks for the quick reply Jocelyn.
Yes, I do register all my domains myself, when I go to host them and the hosting package that I choose offer a free domain registration I contact them and ask some other features instead of the free domain registration.
Anyway, voxdomains.com looks pretty much just like GoDaddy.Com
Could this be a scam or something ???
I'm gonna check if they are a trusted ICANN acredited registrar.

I use domainsatcost.ca, Auto-renew, park, forward, shows in google.ca, did everyting myself and never needed support. The price is right also.

I've never heard of them.
I've heard of Wild West Domains, which it looks to be who they're reselling through (several easy tells throughout the site). I've never used WWD, but they're accredited. I've used Dotster for years.

I have a company that is a reseller under www. names4ever .com which has not given us much trouble in the past.
This company does its own DNS, hosting, etc., so I don't know what you get from going though names4ever directly. Other than right now, better pricing than I get wholesale. I pay a dollar or two more wholesale than you could get it retail from their home page, and I have hundreds with them.
May be worth a look.

Hey Robert!
Thanks for the reply.
I went to names4ever.com and whatever I click I'm getting redirected to aplus.net
To me aplus.net seems pretty legit and reliable.
Well, I forgot to mention in my initial post, I'm looking for a registrar that in case I'll change hosting for any domain I own they'll resolve my DNS quickly. Godaddy seems to do this job within 24 hours from the moment I change the DNS.
And something else, I have a friend who's looking to register a few domains but he wants to use a private registration form, he doesn't want to have his email address, street address or name to show up with a whois lookup. I know GoDaddy offers this type of registration for a yearly fee but I really don't want to use them anymore because I have lots of proofs from people who got their domains stolen and GoDaddy did nothing to help them get their domains back.
Still looking for feedback

I hate to say it, but I went through Yah00, they use Melbourne IT (and gave me the access to it), http://www.melbourneit.com.au. if you're doing lots of domains, they have an affiliate/reseller program, you can sign up under yourself. They also have special deals for 5 or more domains, and they're on the list...
You have full control over what you put into the domain contact info, dns servers (delegated and owned servers), and well, thats all you can really do with a domain name anyway...

Is there any evidence of this? A lot of people register their domains there.
