did you know that JV-Giveaway Events are great places to build your list for free? Yes, they really work, I have build huge lists by participating as a contributer in these events.

So I thought I let you know about a Giveaway Event that I started.

It is currently in Pre-Launch and you can only register for my
announcement list. Once it launches I will inform the people on

giveaways work, but they have to be targeted giveaways within an environment that will attract your desired target market. A giveaway for the sake of given something away and building a list is not good; you'll find that when you start marketing to these people they'll opt out, conversion may be low, and your ROI goals (if you have any) will be hard to achieve.

Sorry, but that is simply not true.

It is all about your marketing funnel. If you have a well planned marketing funnel, then you will get backend sales and one-time-offer sales. Not to mention that we have a 2% upgrade rate, that means from 100 people there are at least 2 potential buyers. There are some big players on my giveaway and I don't think they are there just for the fun of it.

clearly the landing page and how you building your sales funnel makes a big diff. in conversions....but the sites that you choose to place your promotion on is also very key.

I work on very strategic placements with large clients, and I can tell you the big promotion/giveaway sites can target for you. Whether is geo-targeting, gender, income to name a few....all this can be done; this usually drives the CPA up, but the quality of lead is a lot better.

Yes, that is true ... the current giveaway events like my Halloween Giveaway are all targeted towards the internet marketing niche. But I know there will soon show up some real targeted Giveaways like a "Health & Fittness" Products Giveaway.

As for running a giveaway ... It's awesome, I have built a 2500+ list through it in two weeks, still increasing :-)

Are you referring to me?

If Giveaways don't work, then why are the Top Internet Marketers, who earn ten-thousands of dollars evey month, participating in and promoting my Giveaway event??? I mean people that have a name to lose!

Have you tried it? I have personally build a list of 1700 contacts with just one Giveaway Event in December 2007 by participating as a contributor. With all 8 Giveaway events that I participated in in december my list grew by more than 3000 contact in one month... where else can you get that?

As for misleading members... I had a 3-year education as a programmer here in Germany, I do successful SEO for clients here in Germany (they pay me $50+ an hour) ... Where did I mislead anybody?
