What works better? "keyword" or keyword?

I'm going direct to topic: What works better, "keyword" or keyword in anchor text?

For example, lets assume I have 2 links for my page

- BMW M3 Las Vegas Wings
- BMW M3 "Las Vegas Wings"

Wich of this two links will give me better results for SERPs? The first or the second one with the "" on it?

;-)
I don't think this would make a great differnce. So far as I have read, this only is lowering down your keyword value in the anchor because every sign, like ?,!, " is counted. So if you get topic based backlinks without the "," you should be fine.

I would say stay away form "" if it worked then guaranteed SEO's would be using it, take a look around you wont see "kw" in any of the backlinks for competitive markets

Avoid as much as possible any special character within the anchor texts of the links pointing to your site. All you can gain from them is loss.

Most believe it does not make a difference. I do not think it will do harm, but it does not serve to be an advantage.

Also, another doubt... I'm trying to go up in Google SERPs for the keyword "tuning" and I have the oportunity to add an link in a PR5 and PR4 website with the anchor text I want. I only need to include my site name. So, what would work better?

a) Sprint Total Tuning
b) Sprint Total - Tuning
c) Tuning - Sprint Total
d) Tuning Sprint Total

Sorry for the newbie questions, but I'm really trying to go up and I only got results clibing from page 14 to page 13... (and, for my deception both #1 and #2 results are in Portuguese, beeing number #1 my "rival" and he doesn't know anything about SEO...)

Good point. I would need to still use Sprint Total or eduardomaio (member name). In that way it would work just fine

Sprint Tuning may be the most relavent. Tuning alone may be too generic.
