Cross Linking Own Sites
I have numerous sites and have avoided cross linking them for the most part and was wanting some information on this.
Heres some background info: - Each of my domains has its own unique IP address
- I have 9 unique C blocks for the domains
So, I was wondering which approach to cross linking the sites would work best if any.
I was thinking that if I cross linked sites from each unique C block but didnt cross link sites within the same C block it may be the best idea.
Any ideas???
Thanks!

Hey, did I miss something? What are you guys talking about when you say "character spam"? I'm simply looking for an answer to the question about crosslinking sites.

Hello Kevin,
i dont see any problem with your cross linking tactic, Cross linking happens everywhere, Large companies do cross linking among their sites, So make sure you dont exceed the limit and make sure each and every site is distinct from each other, if they have unique contents then there is no issue,
Also when you mean crosslinking I can assume you mean 10 or 15 sites, If that is the case then it is not a big issue, But crosslinking many sites will lead you into trouble, So make sure your crosslinking doesnt hurt your network,

Powerofeyes - Thanks for the reply. I agree that cross linking happens everywhere I see no issue with displaying your site inventory across all sites but have been hesitant to do so because of differing opinions on this.
I have upwards of 100 sites either up or in progress, and would like to link up as many as possible. That's why I was wondering what the limits would be, and the safest way to do it. It would be nice to get a boost from an additional 100 site links.

I say if it makes sense to the user that you should cross link then do it. In the end google wants and knows whats best for the user.
Or you could play it safe and circle the sites. Have site A link to B and B link to C etc...

LOL... don't worry Kevin. Yesturday just above starbug's post, there was a huge post in chinese with tons of links and all. I erased 8 of these posts. I usually never erase a post that had a post after and just modify it, so the posts after still make sence. I took a chance on this thread. I tought that my reply to starbug would be explict enough. Sorry about that.

Hi Kevin,
Crosslinking of sites wont affect you or your ranking. Since i have seen lots of sites of a single owner are crosslinked that too all the sites have same ip. All the sites are having PR7 or PR 6. So, dont worry... Carry on...
