How to SEO Offpage after Penguin Update

Dear all I am much confused how to create back links after Google Penguin update. What , I think after this update link with anchor tag will tend to penalties from search engines specially Google. Articles submission is also tend to penalties since websites like ezinearticles, articlebase, amazine are already penalized by search engines (Panda Update).

Submission to directories is also tend to penalties. I need help from forum members on this. Please help me.

Hi,

I don't think a directory link can lead to a penalty as such, it's just that lots of links that used to help quite a lot, just aren't helping any more.

That even included links from those spammy whois + alexa etc data scraper sites - even those links used to help but aren't any more.

That doesn't mean there's a penalty for link building, it's just that the quality bar's been raised.

Why do you think those article directories you have listed are experiencing problems? They are just doing fine and getting accessed by thousands of people almost everyday. The real point as mentioned is that today, some types of links, even though they might appear as direct links to your site and appearing when you use the link: command and appear in your Webmaster Tools panel, but their effects on your web ranks might be very light, compared to several months and years ago.

Having said that, you can still pursue some good linking tactics and there are even some very powerful directories which enjoy high PR scores that can be used to build quality links for your site. Just getting those quality links has become a bit harder. By the way, do not only focus on doing link building because all evidence indicate that websites which have fresh, unique and relevant contents, are doing better than before, perhaps this is a reward given to prolific webmasters.

If you'd get links naturally, most would point to different pages with different anchors. If, for some reason, you have 40% of anchors with the same text, or they basically all point to home, it kind of talks for itself a bit.

If I was to fetch links, I'd vary the anchor and pages they point to a lot...
