yep, they're getting there, I saw somewhere that google had purchased a company that specialized in word meanings and relevancy.... threw up a couple red flags for me with regards to related linking. Get ahead of the crowd and start with relevant links only. Try not to link out to unrelavant stuff, I'm sure it's not a huge deal but I'm testing the theory right now, I have a site that I give links to other people so that they will all link to my investment site. the site giving out links to these investment sites has nothing to do with investing, it's losing it's rankings... it's not a big deal because it's a testing ground anyway. The site that is getting links to it from the investment sites is going up in rankings. All relevant type links coming in. I'm not sure If I'm giving the other sites really any benefit at all because it's a non related site linking to them. I think they will still let the benefit pass on, but, I think that the sites with more related links will do better. That way if there are only a few sites and they all have unrelated links coming in, then google will still have some listings, they just want the best at the top.... wow I blabbered hey?
