MSN Beta getting there
It looks like MSN is fixing some of the problems with the new search engine. I also noticed they have added, highlighting the search terms as well as tweaked the results again, slightly.
IMO, the SERPS are getting better but....
Either there is too much weight based on any link, including site-wide
or
They give extra weight to links on pages that are more important (ie. pages that would be high PR in Google)
Any thoughts???

Just checked the MSN beta serps for my keywords. Until yesterday I was ranked #1 for most, today I'm back to the same rankings as the current MSN SE. Did this happen to anyone else?

HMiller, for some reason MSN Beta is showing Inktomi data...earlier reports showed beta data live on MSN in spotty locations -- it is early; expect change back and forth until the beta results are live everywhere.

Oddly enough for some product searches a lot of personal sites are returned above the retail ones. It will take a while to sort out the problems with it, its always an ongoing process, even years down the line. I expect results to change again, and I also think that all regions not being included as yet will alter results. MSN SE results are totally different from G's.

I'm seeing very mixed results for products generated dynamically. Sometimes they are right there in the top ten, and other times they are outranked by general content pages.

Now I even like it more! I'm number one for my very very competitive keyword.
Now I just need Google to let my links out of the box. (not asking too much, hehe)
