damn hackers!
OK OK so we forgot to update ONE of our boards to vBulletin from PHPBB and guess what WE GOT FUKIN HACKED! Lesson learned, dont put off security risks even if they arent sites you dont really care about, you may soon realize you dont want them hacked anyways.
Ah well, good thing it happened to a minor site. NEVER will I run a phpbb again! DOH!

Yeah, my hosting got hacked a little while ago. Simply replaced all index pages with a stupid message. I guess it was fun for the dude that did that, something to prove maybe. You leave a gap, a hacker will slide through.

Why was the site running phpbb when you love Vbulletin? I have never ever ever like phpbb nor do I want to ever download it after hearing these reports of hackers hacking in. OK Vbulletin what 2.3x something had a security flaw but was quickly fixed and it's been almost a year.

I think there are built in ports that make it relatively easy.
