I'm 99% sure they temporarily redirected their url to google.com (using a "302" in their .htaccess file or whatever) until Google thought it was actually the same site (so with the same PR and backlinks). As soon as the Toolbar showed the newly acquired PR10 for that url, they must have removed the redirect, but the PR and backlinks remained. You'll see that change as soon as Google has another BL or PR update...

P.S> This is pretty much what Jfontestad already mentioned on WMC...

I think this is one of the reasons why google considers PR for entertainment purposes only... because this is kinda funny lol I hope people don't think it's their real PR... This whole PR thing is a joke now. You can't judge whether a site is good or bad based upon PR anymore, people like these guys just ruined it.

well their pr9, pr8 and other pr pages have lost their pr, it shows pr0 now. soon their homepage will show pr0 also.
they don't even rank for the keywords they have optimized for (search engine hackers). So they gained nothing from this game except cheating page visitors

When i followed the link I saw a PR 0 but in any case, it was most likely done with a 301 redirect. The effects are temporary and most likely don't help your SERPs anyway.

can't think of a better way to get banend for life than this.

Hi all,

This project begins the December,1st, we manage to get a PR10 and a PR7 the December, 16th with the backlinks update.

The others PR don't work because simply we don't indicate to google links of this pages. But we will see what happen for the moment with this PR.

It's right, Google can ban us for life for this.., but we want to show to all this bug and the simplicity to make it work.
The question is why Google don't try solve this bug that exists since 2003.
And why some websites lose their positions with this sort of technics or even disappear of the index when an opposant decides to use this bad stuff.
Like security hole, this things must be know by all the people. Too much time this during.
