Multiuser Weblog?

Does anybody have any suggestions for a decent multi-user weblog system? I've been looking around and havn't found anything yet that really suits my needs.

It is for a community/forum based and would like to add the option for users to create thier weblog on the site.

I'm running w2k server using IIS and something in asp classic/access or php/mysql would do the trick.

ok, so no replies...

Ok, so no replies here.. I guess the asp forum must be on it's deathbed.

In any case, I think I found a good multiuser blog system. I think I'll end up going with a php/mysql engine called b2evolution.

It's free, open source, and seems to kick ass in general. So if anyone else happens by this post looking for the same thing, you might want to start there.

Meanwhile, if anyone else has any experience with another multi-user blog engine, written in asp or php.. I havn't openly released it yet on the site, so I'm still open to suggestions.

Sure,

Actually.. I had to scrap the above software as well and move on to a new one again. I thought it was a good solution, (Multi-user, yes.. multi-blog, yes... ) but it is not setup to have multi-users make thier OWN blogs.

The search for good open source Blog engine software has officially become near ridiculous.

So now I am running a program called Drupal (http://www.drupal.org/) . It is a great open source project that anyone running a community-style web site might be interested in. Unfortunately, it is stricken by a classic case of "Jack of all trades, but master of none". One of it's many trades happens to be blogging, but the features are somewhat limited.

It runs PHP/MYSQL, and will run on either apache or IIS and it is by far a more interesting project than what anyone would think, just viewing my little stripped down version of it.

As for URL's ... my current install is located here, although it may be moving soon. Also, I have basicly turned off every feature except for those directly related to blogging for the moment. So, there is really nothing to see.. just a simple blog engine.

The plan is to turn on the other features of drupal over time and see if people like them, with it possibly taking over most of the forum/article/chat/ functions of the site at some later date.
