The next Google PR update overdue?
I was wondering when you guys think the next google PR update was going to happen. The last PR update and backlinks update was back around April 20th if I can recall correctly. I went from a PR of 4 to a PR of 5 and from 121 backlinks to 262. Funny how that number precisely doubled 
I'm very very very curious to see how well my site does with the next update since I've done so much more promotion.
So when is your best guess to when the next PR update will be? |

Should be done by now. Could be any minute like it could be skipped like it happend not so long ago. Stay tuned. |

Skipped? As in the servers have updated their information and compiled it, it just isn't online yet?

I wish there was a way to find the updated PR rankings ahead of time The suspense is probably killing everyone. |

The data is recalculated on one of the datacenter and once it's cooked properly PR calculated, algo tweaks... and acceptable, it propagates to all the online datacenters. Then the update is complete and the everflux is back.
But this may change at any moment without notice. |

Google is a fickle beast isn't it?
I know my PR went up, but by how much is the ticket. I am a PR5 right now, but my hope is I'm either a strong 5 now or a weak 6.
(Of course if I've got a PR7, drinks for everyone are on the house, but I'm certainly not planning for that, nor am I expecting that.) |

Like having the chrismas present on the 22th.
What would it change? You'll run and get more links...
Just get more links, more constructive. The green bar just help when asking for an exchange if the webmaster knows about PR. |

PR5 is the 1st strong hard to pass line to make it to PR6. Lots more links are needed to make the 6. I wish you get your PR6. |

Thanks Jocelyn,
When my PR was upgraded to a 5, it was when I had only a handful of links. Since the PR update, I know I've gotten a lot more, way more, so hopefully I will get to a better PR.
