Anyone used/modified Miva? We may have to modify (beyond what the web based console can do) a site which is in this beast of a cart. Any input?

In my humble opinion I would go otherway, probably because since I like to mod my carts with a lot of mods I use OsCommerce for technical users and cubecart for not so savvy clients. I used Miva for a while but they seem to me like the counterpart of the Hewlett packard on the computers, they are sometimes so propietary.....
