I've checked the serps at yahoo for one of my keys.
I have the idea now that the keyword density could be very important in the meta descr. tag.

Look at this here:

Rank 1:
found (keyword) 1 time(s) in 17 Description words (Density: 5.88%)
Rank 2:
found (keyword) 2 time(s) in 20 Description words (Density: 10.00%)
Rank 3:
found (keyword) 2 time(s) in 11 Description words (Density: 18.18%)
I suppose that the density should be small, not high.

Are there any others in here who can check that with their own keys?

Writing your meta description should include your keywords but should not be concerned with density, instead you should write your description so that it appropriately describes your website.

"Professional Search Engine Optimization and Internet Marketing Services from the worlds Leading SEO Company" is the first thing in my description, My main kw is "SEO company" however I am more concerned with how the description comes across. As long as you include your kw your fine

yep, it has little to do with the serps

just make sure you have something accurate and attractive. if people see it in the serps, make sure it's something they want to click on.
