SEO Question
I read somewhere that if you have a link to every page on your website, on each page you have, that it is good for your ranking. I am thinking, because my domain name has my keyword in it though, that since I have about 30 links on each page, that the spiders may think its keyword stuffing. I thought I would get some opinions on this forum.
My website is HomeJobsOnline.com, and the main keyword I focus on is "Home Jobs". I was #1 for this keyword in Google for over a year, but when it did its little "dance" I've never been back to the top.
Should I not use the technique described above? It did not seem to work, my pages were spidered but Im still no where in Googles rankings.
Another thing, is that Google doesn't pick up my META Description, it just picks up the first sentences on my page and uses that in the displayed result of my page. Does my META tags look correct?
Oh and BTW, I read SEO Guys tutorial, and I love it. The best free SEO tutorial I have ever read. If you help me personally (SEO Guy), I will give you more backlinks from a couple websites for your SEO contests. One with a PR of 5, and one with a 3.

Hi Tronzolo, I just had a look through your keyword "Home Jobs" and there are almost 14 million other people in line. It doesn't look like your site is getting filtered for that keyword which is good. How many backlinks do you have? Google is showing 15 and most of the top listings are over 2000 backlinks coming from resources that are relevant. It might just be that you need some more backlinks making your site more of an authority.
Also Google shows what it believes is the best sentence on your site to use. Sometimes it picks the meta description, sometimes not.
Good luck with your site!

Google dances have a habit of knocking established rankings down - but, really, internal linking is just one issue in a range of them. Ultimately, it's the links into your site that are going to do the most good - especially when properly and thoughtfully set out.

Good stuff guys thanks. I figured I needed more backlinks, but I just wanted to make sure that before I work hard on getting more backlinks, I have my site properly setup. You never know.. I actually think I might start a different website, and I may sell HomeJobsOnline.com once I get some PR from the site to my other one. The other site I just registered is HomeJobs.cc, a pretty good name, I am digging it. Then I can just sell off HJO because I am sure I can get some sort of money for it. The more money I can get right now, the better, because I got me a HIGH IRS Bill. And Im not getting paid as good as I was last year.. Owell. Its my birthday and I can cry if I want to I now got 2 hills under my belt, just 1 more year and I can drink legally, yay!
