I have a eBay stoere and I've noticed it does failry well (without any backlinks) on the se especially google. You can only imagine how good it would be with backlinks.

My questions is does opening up a Yahoo store has similar effect on google. Is it just as SEO friendly?

Has anyone opened a Yahoo Store and enjoyed great search engine success.

That's simply false.

There are many plusses to using Yahoo Stores vs. eBay stores as well as some downsides, but SEO is definitely NOT one of the downsides. Yahoo is one of the best ecommerce platforms for SEO. It publishes static HTML. You can customize your link structure any way you want. You have complete control over design, coding etc. of everythingup to the checkout process... How is it not SEO friendly?

I've helped take many Yahoo Stores to the top of the SERPs in lots of different retail markets.

Amazon's affiliate program hardly compares with running a Yahoo store. That's like someone asking if Specialized makes a good bike and answering that they should get a Girlhouse skateboard. A valid answer to some question, but not to the one asked.

You really think Yahoo is that much better? Thanks for the insite. I like what amazon has done so if Yahoo is that much better then I will really like a yahoo store.
