Google & Sub_Domains. Tip Wanted.
Hi,
I saw a site that had several sub-domains indexed. Though domains are cheap, I wanted to exploit the possibility of adding solid content to 10 different sub-domains with Adsense ad blocks on each of them.
My question is: what would you do to quickly get those sub-domains indexed by Google? Any sub-domain hints as far as Google is concerned?
Thank you.

A subdomain is like a separate site. So you have to get links to these sub just like a brand new website. If you interlink them with the main domain and all, you might get a slap on the hand. The only advantage of subs is to have more than 2 listing in the serps. Using sub-folders can be linked from other sub-folders... you will just get 2 listings, but if they are well placed it's often good enough.

Thank you! That was quick! I am trying to figure out the best method to take advantage of sub-domains in conjuction with Adsense revenue so I don't have to purchase separate main domains for each project.

A domain is 15$... you can have hostings that will give you unlimited sub-account (added domain). If 15$ is too high for the income you are gonna generate, maybe it's not worth the trouble.

Hi Jocelyn
I've always respected your advice quite a lot but I beg to differ on this one.
I started with one site that had several different folders all related to a different topic under a general theme, all containing relevent links to that folder, and it's own link pages in that folder. Then for some unknown reason I decided to split them all off into their own seperate domains. Well it was very sucky, they all plumited meseralby in the serps. and the traffic.
I thought perhaps I had too many links between 2 of the sites so I deleted them, but the serps dropped even more. I later replaced them and the serps started coming back up again. The links pointed to different pages with in site A, and they were repeated on several of Site B's pages.

Maybe stuff changed and they are good now, but from what I read for years, I always stayed away from sub domains. I use sub-folders instead of subs...

Well your right Jocelyn
I was a little off topic.
I was using subfolders not subdomains. My general theme was the Filipina/Philippines, and my subfolders was Filipina Dating, Filipina weddings, Philippine Travel, and some Philippine legal issues. I never should have broken them off into seperate domains.
I left the travel and legal folders on my main domain and they are the most effective search phrases I have still.
